Educational Tour
November 25-29, 2015
First
week before the Educational Tour, we are all very excited because next week
will be our tour in Manila. We are very glad to join the tour because many of
us are first timers to go there. We are expecting that our tour will be full of
happiness, each of us will know more about ourselves and learn more about our
tour. Teachers and students prepare two cultural dance presentations for the
students and teachers of Academy of Saint John. Last November 24, 2015 is our
last day here at Rio Tuba. Some said they couldn’t sleep because they are very
excited in our tour. Others would pack their things one week before the tour.
They said that the more day come, the more excitement comes. The most exciting
day that we’ve been waiting finally came.
November 25, 2015
The
most exciting day that we’ve been waiting finally came. For us, this day was
very exciting day because we will together for a whole tour and each of us will
know more about ourselves. We suppose to come to the school at 2:30 AM, so that
by 3:00 AM we depart the area. We stop over at Narra Narra in Stop over Grill.
And we arrived in Puerto Princesa City at quarter to 10 AM and we went directly
to Airport. Our departure was at 11:30 AM to Manila but our flight was delayed.
After that, we left the place at 12:45 NN (Cebu Pacific).
Outside the Airport there is 6 vans sponsored of REX BOOK
STORE, this vans were our service for the whole tour. We arrived at the Airport
Manila around 2 o’clock. Because of the traffic, we travel 2 hours going to SM
Mega Mall (to have a dinner). We also had a chance to tour the Mall. After
that, we went to La Salle Green Hills. We went also to their Shopping Center.
We stay at the Retreat house of La Salle Green Hills.
November 26, 2015
We woke
up at 4:00 AM to take a bath and prepare. And at 6:00 AM we take our breakfast.
This day is our tour at La Salle Green Hills Campus. The campus of LSGH was
huge and beautiful. They were complete in facilities. The cafeteria was also
huge. Our tour guide was the students of LSGH III year. They are kind to us. And along the tour we saw Alonzo Muchlack in
the area. As we tour around the campus
they are some similarities between our school LSVMS and LSGH. After our tour
inside the campus they gave us food to eat such as Waffles, Aligue Pasta, and
juice. After our snacks we went back to the retreat house of LSGH. They invited
us to watch the mini concert of kundirana.
Kundirana is one of the famous bands some of the artists are famous in
industry of singing like Ogie Alcasid and Gary V. they both came from Kundirana. We enjoy watching the mini
concert of kundirana. After watching
the concert, we eat to their big cafeteria. After eating we attended the Adult
Night High School. In ANHS are those who are wanted to continue their study in
high school. They’re separated in class A and B. We meet the deaf students in
Class B. They’re very kind to us. Before we attended the class, some teachers
of ANHS taught us common sign languages.
November 27, 2015
We woke
up at 4:00 AM to take a bath and prepare. And at 6:00 AM we take our breakfast.
In this day, we went to Cavite at Academy of Saint John, La Salle Supervised
School. We travel two hours going to Cavite. The staff and students entertained
us. They gave us foods and we are welcome to their School. They present a
program for us. We also prepare two cultural dances for them. After the
program, we played native games such as Pantentero, sack race, tumbang preso,
pallo sebo, and kadang kadang. After the games they gave us Mugs, ASJ folder
and tokens. ASJ students and teachers are generous. After that, we went also to
Ocean Park. We watch the water exhibition and the talking penguin. We also went
to the Land of minions, we saw many superheroes. And we also buy souvenirs for
our love ones. Our tour was enjoyable and unforgettable.
November 28, 2015
We woke
up at 5:00 AM at 6:30 AM we take our breakfast. First, we went to Luneta Park.
We ride a small train and ate foods. We saw also the sculpture of Lapu-Lapu. We
went to Taguig, we ate our lunch at Market Market Taguig. After that, we went
to the SM Aura. SM Aura was very huge and beautiful. It is surrounded by big
buildings. We went also to Mind Museum. We saw also the big skeleton of the
Dinosaur. We saw an example of fossils. At Last, we went to Mall of Asia, because
of the traffic we travel an hours before we arrived at MOA. Then, we go back to
LSGH and pack our things.
November 29, 2015
We
woke up at 4:30 AM and at 6:00 AM we take our breakfast. This was our last day
in Manila, after breakfast we went to Airport (NAIA 3). Our flight going back
to Puerto was 1:00 PM. We Arrived in Puerto at 2:00 PM. Before we depart going
to Rio Tuba, we went first to Robinson to buy something. At 5:00 PM we left at
Puerto. On the way to Rio Tuba, we are very happy because they were singing until
we get arrived. We arrived at 11:45 in Rio Tuba.
For me, our Educational tour was indescribable and
unforgettable experience because we really enjoy in every tour we went too. We
really enjoy the tour in Manila because it is a privilege to go to the LSGH and
ASJ because it is once in a life time experience. We saw Alonzo Muchlack and
Benjie Paras at La Salle Green Hills. We have 6 vans sponsored by REX BOOK
STORE; these vans were our services for the whole tour. And I am belonging to
van 6, our van defined as the singers, because we kept on singing until we
arrived to the place. We thank to the sponsored of REX BOOK STORE for using
their vans in our whole tour and also to our Teachers that always guide us
wherever we go. In this Educational Tour, I learned how to budget and spent my
money wisely and to socialize with other people in different places.
